Brazú Quintê

Brazilian chamber music was woven by icons such as Heitor Villa-Lobos, Guerra-Peixe and Radamés Gnattali, whose compositions reverberate unique colors and sounds. Born from this rich tradition, but imbued with contemporary freshness, the group Brazú Quintê formed by Fábio Leal, Mariana Rodrigues, Letícia Andrade, Thiago Faria and Ariane Rodrigues, was established in 2016.

With a focus on original compositions, inspired by the vast Brazilian musical diversity, the group not only honors the masters of the past, but also celebrates modern compositions and reinterprets classics by Almir Sater, Lô Borges, Tião Carreiro and Milton Nascimento through original arrangements.

The distinct formation of guitar, piano, flute, cello and violin is the realization of Fábio Leal’s vision, who dreamed of the fusion of the electric guitar in the chamber music universe.
