Carmen Monarcha is an internationally acclaimed soprano from Pará, Brazil, with a degree in Solo Singing Performance from the Conservatorium Maastricht in the Netherlands, followed by advanced studies in Austria and Germany. For 18 years, she represented Brazil alongside conductor André Rieu and the Johann Strauss Orchestra, touring more than 70 countries and performing at major international venues such as the Waldbühne in Berlin, the O2 Arena in London, the Stade de France in Paris, and the Semperoper in Dresden. Throughout her career, she has received major awards in Brazilian classical singing competitions, including the Bidu Sayão International Singing Competition and the Petrobras Young Soloists Competition.

In Brazil, Carmen is a regular presence at major festivals, opera seasons, and concert series, collaborating with leading orchestras, conductors, and institutions such as OSESP, OSPA, the Minas Gerais Philharmonic Orchestra, Theatro Municipal de São Paulo, Theatro Municipal do Rio de Janeiro, Theatro da Paz, and Theatro Amazonas. Her repertoire includes operas and works by composers such as Debussy, Gounod, Verdi, Ravel, Messiaen, and Haydn, as well as world premieres by Brazilian composers. In parallel, she has developed a distinguished crossover career spanning classical music, MPB, jazz, and pop, combining her operatic background with extensive experience on the international stage.

In addition to her work as a performer, Carmen is dedicated to nurturing new generations of singers through masterclasses and educational activities, continuing the legacy of her mother, vocal teacher Marina Monarcha. Among the honors she has received for her contribution to art and music are the Key to the City of Belém, the Troféu Imprensa award in Curitiba, and a distinction from the São Paulo Academy of Sciences, Letters and Arts. She also develops work focused on the study of the voice as a tool for self-awareness, communication, and artistic expression.
