The young composers collective, DeComposers, collective reaffirms its prominent role in contemporary Brazilian chamber music with the release of the album Opus 6 for Harp, Cello and Violin. In its sixth project, the group presents the most ambitious formation of its career — a mixed chamber ensemble featuring harp, cello, and violin — bringing together outstanding performers in works of striking aesthetic and expressive contrast.
Under the direction of composer and educator João Marcondes, the repertoire gains cohesion and identity, reflecting DeComposers’ plural and collaborative spirit. Recorded at Estúdio Arsis, with production and sound engineering by the award-winning Adonias Junior, the album also marks the collective’s debut in the Azul Music catalogue, expanding the reach and visibility of its artistic work.
