Living in Sweden, he performed at the Royal Opera of Stockholm, the Odense Chamber Orchestra, and the Carl Nielsen Philharmonic. He returned to Brazil in 2006 to take up his position at the Municipal Theater.<\/p>\n<p>His flute teachers were Mikhail Malt, Jean Noel Saghaard, and at USP, Ant\u00f4nio Carlos Carrasqueira. He studied with William Bennett, Sebastian Bell, Richard Taylor, and Lisa Beznosiuk (baroque flute) at the Royal Academy of Music and holds a Master&#8217;s degree from the University of London in England.<\/p>\n<p>Marcelo is a flute professor at FAAM in S\u00e3o Paulo, has given courses at the Stockholm, Pite\u00e5, and Odense academies, and at most Brazilian festivals, including Campos do Jord\u00e3o and Virtuosi de Recife.
