Featuring pieces by Clara Schumann, Fanny Mendelssohn, Emilie Zumsteeg, Helene Liebmann, and Josephine Lang, SHE, INVISIBLE VOL. 1 reveals itself as a selection of great historical and musical relevance. Highlights include the world premiere recordings of \u201cTrois Polonaises: No. 3\u201d by Emilie Zumsteeg; \u201cDrei Klavierst\u00fccke: III. Heimweh\u201d by Josephine Lang; and the third movement, Allegro vivace, from Helene Liebmann’s \u201cGrand Sonata for Piano, Op. 3\u201d. By bringing together lyrical miniatures, scherzos, nocturnes, dances, and a large-scale sonata, Karin Fernandes<\/strong> highlights the aesthetic breadth and expressive power of these brilliant female composers, who remained absent from the mainstream piano repertoire for a long time.<\/p>\n
