Filippo Landi
Filippo Landi is a composer and orchestrator based in London, UK, originally from Florence, Italy. He holds degrees in Piano, Chamber Music, and Composition from the Luigi Cherubini Conservatory.
His orchestration credits include the Netflix film iHostage, HBO’s Gremlins: Secrets of the Mogwai, Netflix’s Cobra Kai V, and A Quiet Place: Day One. He has also worked as an orchestration assistant and proofreader on major international productions including Fantastic Beasts, Willow, The Mandalorian, and Weird: The Al Yankovic Story.
Filippo has collaborated with prominent f igures in the Hollywood music scene, including Vincent Oppido, Philip Klein, Gordy Haab, and Silvio Amato. He is represented in China, Japan, South Korea, and Singapore by Lei Cine Music Management, which promotes and supports his work across those territories.
In 2016, he released his first solo piano album, Upside Down, featuring early compositions and improvisations written during his teenage years. As a film composer, he has scored works such as Lo Sguardo (The Look) by Edoardo Ulivelli and Fallen Drive by Nick Cassidy and David Rice — both screened at international festivals.
In 2021, Filippo was awarded first prize at the Ezio Bosso Composition Competition in Italy. His orchestral piece -id was recognized by the Italian Minister of Education during a ceremony at the Teatro Brancaccio in Rome.
