Opus 5 – Endless Horizon for Solo Piano

On their fifth album, the collective of young composers presents eight new pieces for solo piano, under the artistic direction of João Marcondes.

New Frequency, formed by João Paulice, Leonardo Augusto Silva, Lucas Rodrigues, Pedro Saikali, and Cristhian Squetini, builds soundscapes where melodic expressiveness is balanced with a deep appreciation for the silence between notes, turning the piano into an instrument that resonates with attentive listening.

With refined performances by Ariã Yamanaka, pianist at the OSESP Academy, OPUS 5 faithfully and lyrically brings to life the many layers woven into the composers’ agile and captivating writing.
