Hugo Pinheiro and Amanda Aparicio

Hugo Pinheiro and Amanda Aparicio, the duo that combines two talents of Brazilian classical music. Amanda is an award-winning lyrical singer, recognized for her achievement of the Canto da Floresta Prize in 2017 and the Prelúdio Program in 2018. She studied lyrical singing at the University of the State of Amazonas and honed her skills in the United States with renowned soprano Cynthia Lawrence. In addition, Amanda has undertaken two tours in the United States with the Colla Voce Ensemble, where she premiered world premieres and combined Brazilian repertoire with classical pieces. She has also performed as a soprano in the Women’s Choir at the University of Kentucky.

On the other hand, Hugo Pinheiro is a solo trombonist of the Amazonas Philharmonic Orchestra since 2003. With a doctorate in Music, he is a prominent composer, conductor, and soloist, both in Brazil and abroad. His work encompasses compositions for different ensembles and original soundtracks. As a conductor, he has had the opportunity to lead renowned orchestras and instrumental groups, demonstrating his versatility and musical ability.

Together, Hugo and Amanda deliver striking performances to the audience, combining technique, expressiveness, and a passion for classical music. Their combined talent reflects the excellence and diversity of Brazilian music, enchanting audiences and sharing a unique and passionate vision of musical art.
