Inspirations

INSPIRATIONS revitalizes recordings originally produced for the album GUITAR & FLOREST (2007), specially remastered. The album features arrangements of well-known pieces from the classical repertoire, complemented by the artist’s original compositions.

Experienced guitarist, composer and arranger, with extensive experience in the advertising market, Carrara moves with ease both in the world of classical and popular music, sometimes as a soloist in large orchestras or chamber ensembles, other times as an accompanist musician for various artists such as Zizi Possi, Toquinho, Lokua Kanza, among others.

Combining themes for solo guitar, guitar trios and quartets, the musician masterfully blends the use of instruments with nylon and steel strings, achieving impeccable sound results. The selected repertoire features themes such as Le Cygne, by Camile Saint-Saëns (1835-1921), Air on a G String, from Suite No. 3 by Johann Sebastian Bach (1685-1750) and Waltz No. 15, by Johannes Brahms (1833-1897), while contemplating pieces originally written for guitar, such as Isaac Albéniz’s Tango from Suite España (1860-1909), Study No. 17 by the Spanish composer Fernando Sor (1778-1839) and Andantino No. 5 by the Italian Ferdinando Carulli (1770-1841).
