The first solo album by the composer and pianist from Rio de Janeiro Isaiah Rizzo, REMAIN IN SILENCE presents the artist’s sheer and minimalist style, in a delicate compositions with strong nostalgic inspiration. Influenced by the music of classical composers from the Romantic period such as Chopin, Schumann and Brahms, as well as by the music of contemporary pianists such as Ludovico Einaudi, Rizzo builds his melodies naturally, creating enveloping ones.
In this debut album, the young master sought inspiration in the paintings of great composers, such as Caravaggio (in Lost Paintings), Greek and Roman mythology (in Nox’s Prayer and Mneumosyne), and the Japanese philosophical concept by Mono No Aware in the song Paper Bird, about an origami bird that would like to have real wings and fly.
“I have always had difficulty expressing my feelings, but in discovery a way to communicate with the world” – Isaiah Rizzo
