Exotique

An album that combines sophisticated sonic layers, intertwining electronic synthesizers, samplers, and ethnic accents.

Released in 1998, EXOTIQUE marks a decisive moment in the consolidation of the aesthetic identity of composer and keyboardist Corciolli. Produced during a period of transition from analog to digital technology, the album emerges as a journey through sonorities and a creative combination of timbres and atmospheres.

With only eight tracks, all instrumental, the work reveals a composer interested in narrating internal emotional landscapes. Each composition functions as a microcosm, in which ethereal textures connect and dialogue with tribal percussions and contemporary sounds, amalgamating drama and melodic lyricism.

Featuring special appearances by Teco Cardoso on saxophone and flute, and Tania Maya on vocalizations, EXOTIQUE is a timeless work that invites attentive listening and reaffirms the power of Corciolli’s music as a territory of imagination, introspection, and inner journey.
