Originally released on World Water Day (March 22, 2023), the album H2O is one of the most emblematic works in the discography of Brazilian composer and keyboardist Corciolli. With a vast career spanning more than 3 decades and 38 albums released, the artist has 12 diamond, platinum and gold certifications, and more than 500 million streams to date. In this instrumental project, Corciolli took a personal look at the theme of water and the necessary reflection on our environmental and humanitarian responsibilities.
H2O (DELUXE) features remastered Stereo 2.0 and Dolby Atmos versions, with added natural water sounds, as well as 3 additional tracks, the previously unreleased movement H2O: IX. Rumo Norte and 2 bonus tracks with solo piano versions and nature sounds of the original album’s standout track, H2O: VIII. Aurora. In the sound language of the synthesizers or in the lyrical passages of the piano, the sounds of water added to this expanded edition of the album create dialogues between the electronic sounds and samplers. The listener participates in an immersive way in the listening experience and connects with a rich sound palette, full of possibilities, textures and details, which develop with each new listening.
A project of an intimate and even introspective nature, whose best experience translates into listening through headphones and in silent environments. Tracks such as H2O: III. Méduse, which uses counterpoints and modal canons or H2O: V. Permafrost, with an ethereal and futuristic atmosphere, provide an inspiring example of how the artist skillfully works the sound spaces in his music.
