Daydreaming

DAYDREAMING is a compilation of pieces by classical and contemporary authors, which were brought together and inspired by the concept of “daydreaming”: a subtle detachment from an individual’s own surroundings.

The album features works such as Prelude No. 1 in C Major by Johann Sebastian Bach, and Page d’Album, a short piece written for piano by the French composer Claude Debussy, performed by pianist Clara Sverner; Waltz in A-Flat Major No. 15 by Johannes Brahms and Study No. 17 by Fernando Sor, with performances by guitarist Camilo Carrara; and Prelúdio No. 3 by Heitor Villa-Lobos, in an auspicious arrangement for four cellos, performed by Raïff Dantas Barreto.

To accompany this selection, there are original works by contemporary Brazilian composers and interpreters, such as Milliers Du Monde Semblables and Les Invisibles by composer Andrey Cechelero; Vila Rica and the futuristic Dandelion, by composer and pianist Corciolli; Eyes of the Soul by Raphael Veronese and Solitude by Flávio Franco Araujo, performed by the pianists.
