NIGHTFALL is a compilation of pieces by classical and contemporary authors, which were brought together and inspired by sounds that evoke the fall of night, awakening feelings of serenity and contemplation.
The album features works such as Piano Sonata No. 14 in C-Sharp Minor, Op. 27 No. 2 “Moonlight”: I. Adagio Sostenuto (Moonlight Sonata) by Ludwig van Beethoven, Prelude No. 4 in E Minor, Op. 28 by Frédéric Chopin and Nuances No. 3, Op. 56 by Alexander Scriabin, performed by pianist Clara Sverner; Salut d’Amour, Op. 12 by Edward Elgar and Andantino No. 5, Op. 241 by Ferdinando Carulli, with performances by guitarist Camilo Carrara, and Mistério.., (Quanto Amei-a!) by the Brazilian composer Francisco Mignone, in a cello arrangement, performed by Raïff Dantas Barreto.
To accompany this selection, there are original works by contemporary Brazilian composers and performers, such as Prelúdio Silencioso No. 1, Tears of the Rainforest and Infinite Love Song by composer and pianist Corciolli; Pour Les Choses Nouvelles e Imparfait by composer Andrey Cechelero, and Bella by the pianist Flávio Franco Araujo.
